Two weeks down

I am looking forward to the time when I can say we've only got two weeks left, but I must let time pass on it's own. Ronan and I are doing well. Ronan has adjusted to the new routine without daddy. We look at video of him daily so Ronan will know his voice and face. He is crawling everywhere and pulling down everything. He has grown so much in the past two weeks too. Josh is begging for video, so I guess I need to get over my fear of technology and figure out how to download the video and burn it to a dvd for him. Well, Ronan has found my dive regulator and I don't think that's the best chew toy for him. If I thought it would help pop his teeth I'd say, "have at it." But I think I'll have him stick to the kid friendly toys.

Going it alone

Hi all
Josh has left for Iraq. He made it there safely and is getting aclamated to the area. The area where he is has internet access, so we are able to keep in touch daily. I know that this is a luxury not afforded to all spouses who's loved one is deployed. I am very appreciative and grateful. Ronan was a fussy baby for the first two days Josh was gone. For those of you who know my child, he is not a fussy baby, so I presume he sensed a change in routine. He is back to being his sweet, cute self. He is starting to clap his hands and we are working on waving to friends. That's all for now.
